The Scientific Partners of BIOECON are pleased to announce that the Twenty-Second International BIOECON Conference will be held on September 17–19, 2021 using a concurrent hybrid format: in-person at Snow King Resort, Jackson, Wyoming, USA (gateway to Grand Teton National Park) and streaming through an online virtual conference platform. BIOECON XXII will be of interest to scholars and decision-makers working on issues related to the science and economics of natural resources, the environment, and biodiversity. As a particular theme, BIOECON XXII will highlight the integration of natural science and social science, including economics, for conserving biodiversity and protecting human health. Keynote presentations will be delivered by Simon Levin (Princeton University) on “Public goods, from microbes to human societies,” and Heidi J. Albers (University of Wyoming) on “Making connections: interdisciplinary research for biodiversity conservation.” The conference will commence with a reception in the early evening of day 1. Conference sessions will begin in the morning of day 2 and conclude in the afternoon of day 3. Organized group tours of Grand Teton National Park and surrounding areas will be offered immediately before and after the conference, subject to availability. Learn more>>
