Frontiers in Natural Capital and Green Accounting will be held on September 28 and 29, 2023, from 2:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET online via Zoom. 

The workshop is structured to help participants navigate this rapidly developing space that has been in part spurred by the release the U.S. National Strategy for Natural Capital Accounts and Associated Environmental-Economic Statistics as well as international efforts.

Panelists will share their knowledge from a variety of perspectives on the following aspects of the topic:

• History and background;
• Structure of national accounts and relationship to natural resources and the environment;
• Environmental-economic accounts and analysis beyond benefit-cost analysis; and
• Research gaps and next steps.
