At AERE, we understand the importance of volunteers.Volunteers are AERE's most precious resource, lending their time and expertise to help the association, and the profession, advance. AERE has volunteer opportunities to suit every interest and availability level, including service on the Board of Directors. As we look forward to future initiatives, we hope you will consider being part of our volunteer community. You can complete a volunteer application at any time; however, most volunteer positions are filled in the spring (April, May, and June) each year. 

Executive Committee

Responsible for providing organizational leadership between Board meetings, ensuring that decisions align with AERE’s mission and policies. The Committee advises the President, addresses urgent matters requiring timely action, and considers complaints related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in accordance with AERE’s policies.
