The next AERE Summer Conference will take place in June 9-11, 2027 in Portland, OR. AERE’s signature Summer Conference brings together leading environmental and natural resource economists for three days of outstanding academic programming in a collegial and inclusive setting.

Please note: AERE will not hold a Summer Conference in 2026 due to its participation in the 7th World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists (WCERE 2026).

Abstract Submission

Abstract submissions are accepted December 1 to early to mid-January.

Conference registration opens in mid-March.
