At AERE, we understand the importance of volunteers.Volunteers are AERE's most precious resource, lending their time and expertise to help the association, and the profession, advance. AERE has volunteer opportunities to suit every interest and availability level, including service on the Board of Directors. As we look forward to future initiatives, we hope you will consider being part of our volunteer community. Volunteer applications are accepted between November 1 and March 31 each year.

Board of Directors

AERE is governed by a Board of Directors, which meets at least twice each calendar year to transact all business of the association as guided by its bylaws.The voting members of the Board consist of the President, President-Elect (or Immediate past President, in alternate years), Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer, and six other Board members elected by the association membership. Neither the Officers nor the Board members of AERE receive any financial consideration in exchange for their services.
