Annual Summer Conference

The AERE 2023 Summer Conference was held at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland, Maine. Limited virtual access was also provided to select sessions. Over 460 environmental and resource economists from the academic, public, and private sectors as well as graduate students attended. The conference began with a block of parallel sessions followed by a plenary session on Forever Chemicals: A Pressing Justice and Policy Issue and a welcome reception. The academic program followed on Thursday and Friday and included the annual awards luncheon.
