AERE Summer Conference Travel Scholarship Opportunities
AERE is committed to supporting its members in environmental and resource economics by reducing financial barriers to conference participation. To help ease the cost of attending the AERE Summer Conference, we offer scholarships that include a waiver of the conference registration fee and a $500 travel stipend.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a current member at the time of application;
- Attest that they have financial need, particularly if they do not have access to institutional travel funding or have only limited support.
Application and Selection Process:
- Selection will prioritize applicants based on established eligibility criteria.
- If the number of eligible applicants exceeds available funding, scholarships will be awarded randomly within priority tiers.
- Successful applicants will be notified of their selection by March 31, 2025. Detailed instructions regarding reimbursement procedures and other relevant information will be provided to scholarship recipients.
