Since its inception over 30 years ago, AERE has facilitated the exchange of ideas around environmental and natural resource economics and policy through its journals. AERE continues today in this tradition, publishing two of the most highly regarded journals in the field: our research journal bearing the association's name, and a review journal that provides widely accessible discussions on the latest thinking in environmental economics and related policy by globally renowned experts in their field. Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (JAERE) and Review of Environmental Economics and Policy (REEP)

AERE also supports ResEcon, an electronic listserv that allows members and others to post and receive information relevant to their work, managed by Martino Pelli, University of Sherbrooke, CanadaLearn more about ResEcon or join the list

AERE@OSWEET is a friendly online forum where scholars share work in environmental and natural resource economics, followed by an optional happy half-hour. Talks are short and sweet—three papers per session, with 15–minute presentations followed by 5 minutes of friendly Q&A. Each OSWEET takes place on a Friday from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. ET. All are invited to submit their work—especially junior folks, grad students, and scholars who identify as part of groups underrepresented in economics! Submit or sign up for the mailing list to receive invitations to sessions here.
